UPDATE — Vintages @ 611
The wine will bring you through the door, but Vintages’ small plates menu will keep you in your seat.

A perfect combination of wine, nibbles and excellent service has kept this South Hill gem going strong for three years. As with other neighborhood joints, Vintages sustains itself on a steady flow of dedicated followers. And owner Tana Rekofke knows how to treat them right.

In addition to nightly specials, Vintages boasts its standard menu that is anything but. The patio is ripe and ready for lounging beneath the summer sun, and salads like the Celebration Salad ($9) combines a refreshing cilantro vinaigrette with a hearty serving of beans, corn, avocado and a sprinkle of bacon for good measure. Opting out on dinner entrees and noshing on a selection of the numerous appetizers — such as the gorgonzola frites ($5), stuffed mushrooms ($6), and Cougar Gold platter ($14) — is a common practice at Vintages. It’s a destination to put on any Spokane gourmand’s bucket list.
