Elk Public House

People say you can tell the quality of a restaurant by its burger (assuming one is offered) – and if the Elk’s is any indication, customers are in for one heck of a meal. The Moon Burger, named for the Elk’s brother restaurant in CDA, is beefy and satisfying, yet simple, served with copious amounts of crunchy potato chips. Add to that a great staff and a good beer and wine selection, and it's no wonder places around the region are trying to replicate its well-established model. (November 2012)
