Do you want to go to a bar where everyone knows your name? Go to Mootsy’s enough, and you might see your wish come true. The downtown drinkery is a Spokane institution — known for strong drinks, rowdy clientele, loud live music and some of the friendliest-yet-no-bullshit bartenders in town. You haven’t truly drank in Spokane unless you’ve pulled up a stool at the bar there and opined with the barkeep over a pint of Loud Mouth Soup. (July 2011)
