Shelly Truman Murney: Transitory Spaces Murney combines paint and photographic media to create bold and luscious abstract paintings that express her interaction with the Eastern Washington landscape. Mari Anne Figgins Known for her idyllic scenes of soulful domestic animals and overflowing gardens, Figgins will be in the club's library to sign limited-edition prints of "Glowing Goats," her painting of three goats in the late-day sunlight. Art of the Eye II If artists create based on what they see, what happens when their vision is impaired? Curated by sculptor Scott Nelson and presented locally by the Spokane Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter, this national touring exhibition showcases 42 works of art by ten contemporary artists who are blind or visually impaired. The original Art of the Eye show opened in 1986. Both exhibitions were organized by the Delta Gamma Foundation with support from Lions Club International.
