Born in Holland, chef Jan Dirk van der Kolk has cooked internationally in places like Spain and Switzerland. Now his culinary talents are available in Hayden with a full restaurant that shares a space with baked goods, a deli and to-go selection of beer and wine. The European-inspired menu includes an array of comfort food favorites, like sauer braten (slow-cooked, marinated beef) and warm red cabbage from Germany, and wiener schnitzel (ultra thin, breaded and pan-fried cutlet) with decadent potato gratin.
