The Northwest has a special place in its collective and creative heart for glass art. The most obvious influence is Seattle legend Dale Chihuly, but there are myriad other talented glass artists in the region, as you can see in the closing week of an ongoing blown-glass exhibit at ERGJ Newport, a charming gallery in an equally charming town. The show features 17 artists, including James Nowak, Milon Townsend, Stuart Abelman, Peter Layton, Elodie Holmes and Tommie Rush. The show closes on Christmas Eve, so get in and check it out while you can.
