Former POW Jessica Lynch honors a local Native woman

Former Inlander staffer Kevin Taylor has written a compelling piece on the July 4 visit by Jessica Lynch to Idaho's Nez Perce reservation. Lynch, who was taken prisoner during a horrific firefight in the first week of the Iraq war, was there to honor Lori Piestewa, the Hopi woman who saved her life during that fight only to lose her own.
