The Spokane Arena pulled some big concerts in the past year — Pearl Jam, Tool, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Bon Jovi, etc. — and in February they asked Spokane what shows they’d like to see next. Today they revealed that “Bucket List”:
Spokanites reiterated their continuing zeal for arena rock and country, but mixed in at least a couple wildcard requests. Topping the list is P!ink, who just wrapped up an acclaimed, yearlong, worldwide tour that included a stop in Fargo, N.D., but none in the Inland Northwest.
Prince, who won Best Concert You Would Like to See in 2014 in our recent readers poll, came in No. 10 on the Spokane Arena list. Some of the others on the list also got a lot of love from our readers, including Garth Brooks, U2, Bruno Mars and the Eagles.
On the arena’s Facebook announcement, some people were speculating the list was an April Fools’ Day joke. It’s not, but you can believe that if you want.
