Free State Parks Day, Social Sketch and the Jewish Cultural Film Festival

I'm sure many readers plan on staying home and watching college hoops all night, but we're here to offer a little counter-programming for the non-sports-inclined. We have myriad options for you in our event listings and Staff Picks.

Here are some highlights for Thursday, March 19:

SPORTS & OUTDOORS | It's Free State Parks Day, so get out there while the sun is shining and get a little hike in!

VISUAL ARTS | It's Social Sketch night at The Bartlett, when artists of all levels get together to do a little work, have a couple pops and chat with some like-minded souls. 


FILM | The Magic Lantern hosts the Spokane Jewish Cultural Film Festival starting tonight and continuing Saturday and Sunday. Among the films being screened is the satire Zero Motivation. Here's a look:
