Wye Oak comes to Spokane, and the Maryland duo always puts on a fine show, whether delivering the older guitar-bass tunes that made their Civilian album a classic, or the more electronic-fueled sounds of recent works like Tween. They play the Bartlett Monday; here's an older tune I love:

Kimock. The guy is a guitar master who's tour in various Grateful Dead offshoots in addition to writing his own tunes on a variety of stringed instruments.

THEATER | Central Valley High School is hosting the Spokane Valley Summer Theater's production of
Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, which is indeed a musical retelling of Buddy Holly's story.
COMMUNITY | The Outdoor Movies at Riverfront Park goes big tonight with a screening of
Jurassic World, the monster-sized hit of last summer.

Man of La Mancha, winner of five Tony awards.
