A year ago my mother died in an auto accident, which left my mentally
disabled brother on his own. Since then a few Spokane Valley businesses
have stepped up to help him have a happy and respectful life. Thank you so
much to Sally, the owner of "Flamin' Joes" who's compassion and sense of
community is amazing. Thank you also to Mikes and Jackson Hole Tavern, and
their patrons, and Mike's Powersports. These Valley businesses have truly
helped my brothers transition into self-reliance. My hope is that
this "Cheer" will encourage Valleyites to support these businesses, because
they support the members of their community. Thank you so much.
