Hands Free?

Posted on Sat, Jul 6, 2013 at 8:24 AM

To the drivers in this town who hold their cell phones while talking on
speaker. It's called the "Hands-free law" not the don't hold a cell phone
up to your ear law. There is no difference from holding a cell phone inches
away from your face than it is to have it on your face. I won't say you
look ridiculous, just trying to help you out. Do the research and read the
fine print. What does WA State law enforcement say? That using your phones
speaker function is okay, but the phone needs to be placed down and not
held or you can get that $124 citation. Just be happy you don't live in
King County, they don't allow activities such as wrangling children,
putting on make-up and eating.
