To celebrate the completion of his 31st year on planet Earth, everyone's favorite Satan in Yellow frontman, Fat Tuesday's booking agent, Van's apparel representative and local music booster, Krush Krulesza, will throw a massive two-night birthday party this weekend for himself, his friends and as many revelers as he can cram onto the River Walk Courtyard (behind Fat Tuesday's Concert Hall along the Spokane River). On Saturday night, Krush's 31st Annual Summer Bash Concert, Day One, explodes with featured bands the Federales, Burns Like Hellfire, Killingsworth (from Portland), the Flies and Upper Class Racket. On Sunday night, Day Two, the lineup will consist of Smackin' Isaiah, Lonely Kings (both hot off the Warped Tour) Satan in Yellow, the Creeps and Five Foot Thick. Though both shows are all-ages events, alcoholic beverages from the full bar will be available for those 21 and older in possession of a valid ID.

Satan in Yellow (which Krulesza describes alternately as "karaoke from hell" and "Sammy Davis Jr. mixed with David Lee Roth") will open the show on Sunday night before relinquishing the stage to the onslaught of great local, regional and national bands that will finish off the frenzied weekend, allowing the man of honor simply to enjoy the remainder of this happy and most auspicious occasion.

Tickets for each night's show are $10, but if you are sturdy enough to withstand two consecutive nights of loud, high-intensity fun, you can get a $15 ticket at Ground Zero Boardshops, Rings of Fire or Piece of Mind that will get you into both shows.
