All visual art requires focus and vision, but some artistic media relies on laser-precise brushstrokes or the selection of just the right colored tile for a mosaic. At the City of Spokane's Chase Gallery through July 3, you can see the work of four artists who toil in the details of their work, often spending countless hours working on what we might consider the little things. "Very Carefully" includes the still-life paintings of Portland artist Sarah Fagan, wood sculptures by local Hank Chiappetta; mosaics from Woodinville, Wash., artist Patty Franklin, and Rik Nelson of Liberty lake, who is best known for his fish sculptures made from used bottle caps.
