CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT: The legendary Robert Plant is coming to Spokane on Sept. 29

Dancing days are here again: The legendary Robert Plant's upcoming North American tour is swinging through Spokane, bringing the iconic frontman to the First Interstate Center for the Arts on Sept. 29. He will, as is usually the case these days, be accompanied by his ace backing band the Sensational Space Shifters.

Plant, of course, became a part of rock 'n' roll history fronting Led Zeppelin — who, never let it be forgotten, performed at Gonzaga in 1968 and were credited on flyers as "Len Zeffelin" — but he's had a diverse and decades-long solo career, and found Grammy-winning success (something that, strangely enough, eluded Zeppelin while they were still active) for his duets with country star Allison Krauss.

His most recent album, 2017's Carry Fire, a collection inspired by traditional folk and world music, earned Plant some of his best reviews in the last decade.
