Navy to name ship for African American WWII vet
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Navy was expected to announce it will name a ship after Doris "Dorie" Miller, a black sailor who defended Pearl Harbor with an anti-aircraft gun until being ordered to abandon ship, CNN reports.
