NEWS: Spokane City Council President and mayoral candidate Ben Stuckart says he wasn't retaliating when he suggested the city no longer offer an incentive to a project by developer Larry Stone, and instead use that revenue to address drug addiction in the city. Stone produced a video called "Curing Spokane," which questions crime rates in the city core, calling for a new jail, more foot policing, more free parking and says the city should sell the STA Plaza and move it underground.
