The Spokane Northwest International Film Festival runs Jan. 16-20 at the Met. All films, with the exception of Friday night's "Zephyr Goes to the Movies," are $7. Tickets available at the door or through the Contemporary Arts Alliance at 624-2615.

Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 pm: Last Wedding, written and directed by Bruce Sweeney. Opens with the animated short, Thought Bubble.
Thursday, Jan. 17 at 7:30 pm: Farewell to Harry, preceded by the short, Friendly Game.
Friday, Jan. 18 at 8 pm: "Zephyr goes to the Movies," featuring Un Chien Andalou, Entr'acte and Regen. Opens with Andy Warhol's Empire. (Tickets: $10-$18. Call: 325-SEAT.) Saturday, Jan. 19 at 2 pm: Harold Balazs -- Creating Wonder, a short documentary about Spokane's own master artist. Shows with Organ Music, The Heart of the World, Beyond Kabuki, Friendly Game and Thought Bubble.
Saturday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 pm: Stuff, written and directed by James Dunnison. Opens with Organ Music.
Sunday, Jan. 20 at 2 and 7:30 pm: The Business of Fancydancing, written and directed by Sherman Alexie. Advance purchase recommended for both showings.
