85th Annual Greek Festival

Free to attend.
Gyros, loukoumades, baklava and many other Greek food favorites are back on the menu with the return of the Holy Trinity Greek Food Festival after its COVID-caused 2020 hiatus. Organizers of the massively popular, 85-year-old food and culture celebration are taking needed precautions, however, so all of that tasty, authentically prepared Greek food is only available for to-go orders this year. Other festivities, including tours of the historic church in north-central Spokane (daily at 12:30, 4 and 6 pm), require guests to socially distance and wear face masks. Even so, the three-day event seeks to maintain its warm and welcoming atmosphere with lots of music, laughter and fun. In Greek, these feel-good vibes translate to parea, or a “joyfully connected group of friends.”
