Portland stand-up comic harassed by Border Patrol agents
Portland-based stand-up comic Mohanad Elshieky was on his way back home from a performance in Pullman, when agents pulled him off his Greyhound bus in Spokane and demanded to see his papers. When he showed his Oregon driver's license and work permit, and told them he had received asylum to live in the U.S., the agents, he said, refused to believe him. (Willamette Week)
