FILM | Serious ski hounds spend the off-season fantasizing and watching mountain movies, so it stands to reason that the fishermen/women in your life will want to check out the Fly Fishing Film Tour Tuesday at The Bing.

Wednesday, Feb. 7

WORDS | Terese Marie Mailhot has written one of the most-anticipated memoirs of 2018, and she's reading at Auntie's tonight. Check out our interview with the Native author right here.

Thursday, Feb. 8

COMMUNITY | Join the Time's Up Town Hall meeting tonight in Spokane to discuss what can be done locally to prevent sexual violence, and to achieve justice for its survivors.

WORDS | The Pivot storytelling series hits the main stage again for "Love Hurts," a series of stories about, you guessed it, love and its repercussions.

MUSIC | The Coeur d'Alene Casino hosts The Spinners. I don't know how many actual Spinners are involved, but damn if I don't want to hear this one live:

Friday, Feb. 9

VISUAL ARTS | A new exhibit showcasing "Ten Years of Terrain" opens tonight with a reception at 5 pm. Work from all 10 years of Spokane's revered art fest will be on display, and no doubt some surprises as well.

MUSIC | The University of Idaho hosts a World Music Celebration, a great excuse to get loose on the Palouse.

Saturday, Feb. 10

MUSIC | Locals Donna Donna celebrate the release of their debut album with a show at The Bartlett, joined by Motopony and Nat Park and the Tunnels of Love.
