The monastics of Sravasti Abbey near Newport live as instructed by the Buddha to only eat food that is offered. Because they do not shop, we purchase their food with donations by supporters from near and far. It is our way of sustaining their lifestyle and repaying the kindness of showing us how to be peaceful and balanced in chaotic times.
