Just when you think rappers are all starting to sound the same, Abadawn comes along. His frank, snarling style has been praised by mags like Complex, and has taken him to the stage as an opener for titans like Talib Kweli. Along with him comes Eraserfase, a fascinating beatmaker fresh off a tour opening for Del. Eraserfase makes beats that are trippy and psychedelic — the kind of stuff that will turn on both seasoned beatmakers and newbie raver kids.
