Are Vaccines Everybody's Business?

When: Thu., March 2, 5:45-7:45 p.m. 2017
Price: $5
Facilitated by experts with the Spokane Regional Health District. Childhood vaccinations are a routine part of early healthcare, but Washington state has the highest opt-out rate in the country. This means that some families choose not to vaccinate their children for personal, medical, religious or philosophical reasons. At a time when a mumps outbreak is present in Spokane, we are more aware of the tension between personal choice and public health. Join SRHD to unpack the concerns of diverse stakeholders on this matter.
