Acrylic and watercolor paintings by Nancy Rothwell, on display in Libey Gallery in The Center at Colfax Library. These new works continue Rothwell’s artistic exploration of the state of healthcare in America today. Through her paintings, Rothwell asks viewers to consider the impact retiring Baby Boomers are having on entitlement programs such as Medicare and Social Security. With the tsunami of retiring Baby Boomers and fewer working people to financially support these programs, Rothwell hopes to inspire others to learn more about U.S. healthcare policy and to take an interest in finding and supporting affordable options. Through December, open daily during regular library hours.
