Behold! The Sun Comes Over the Mountain

When: Fri., July 27, 7-9 p.m.
Phone: 230-5718
Price: Free
An exhibit exploring the borders between Idaho and Eastern Washington as a place of connection rather than division. By focusing on the non-human elements that reach across these boundary lines, the Spokane River, old growth cedars in Liberty Lake and the sun, Kelley O’Brien highlights alternative perspectives for inclusivity and exchange. The exhibition will take the form of large scale drawings, projected video works, and interactive lighting that responds in real time to sunlight in both Coeur D’Alene and Spokane. This work is sponsored in part by Spokane Arts' SAGA grant program.
