Re: “Lights Out

Avista is the biggest criminal company in the state. They are legally allowed to steal from us. Year after year the rack up HUGE profits then whine to the Utility Comission about how they need rate hikes.
I shut off my gas with Avista, I heat with wood and a pellett stove. I can´t stand a company that abuses people the way they do. For years before my father passed away he was on the "comfort level billing" and every year they would raise it a little even though he had a large credit with them. He had a credit because his bill was lower then the billing amount. He had about a $700 credit with Avista, and so he called them and said he wanted to use his credit to pay his bill for the next couple months. THEY REFUSED!!!!! It was HIS oney that they were holding and earning interest on and when he needed to use it they REFUSED! He called me, I call an Attorney I work with and they cut him a check for his credit. But it just goes to show how the big bully Avista abused a Spokane Senior Citizen. I can´t stand them!!!

Re: “Shogan: 'I'm Serious'

It is clear that you have no children. Infants often make noise, it is a fact of life, but in NO WAY should that fact keep a CITIZEN OF SPOKANE from having their opinion being heard! Joe is a moron and he should be forced to step down

Re: “Rethinking Recycling

I think it is a shame that glass is put in a land fill. It does not degrade, EVER. It can be recycled a million times over. If you recycle a ton of old glass you get a ton of new glass.
What a travesty that they are just filling up the earth with something that can be so easily recycled.
