Book Signing: Thunder in the Mountains

Author Daniel Sharfstein presents a free public talk and book signing at the Spalding Visitor Center, where he'll speak about his book "Thunder in the Mountains: Chief Joseph, Oliver Otis Howard and the Nez Perce War," and in particular, about Chief Joseph's advocacy before and after the war and what Joseph discovered about the nature of federal power and the most effective ways to make his voice heard.
