Re: “City Council's recognition of Islamic civil rights group draws ire from Matt Shea

I like how within the first sentence the article stated "some carrying guns." OMG, really??? I was there. I openly carried my weapon. Not because it was a rally or protest, not because there were Muslims around, not because of the gentleman who stood behind Matt Shea, interupting his well stated words, shouting rude remarks, and then spoke in front of the council about Muslim rights and peace, but because I still live in the United States, I was born in the United States and my second amendment right allows me to.
The "protester" didn't nothing wrong. WE were there peacefully, did not try to stop people from going in, we did not shout rude or crude remarks to others. We where there to show that we did not agree with this. We all have opinions, just some choose to let their opinion be know, where others decide to remain silent and hope that it all works itself out. All I can say to those people is Good Luck With That.

Re: “Manufacturing Fear

The Confederate Flag offended people and it was removed. I am offended by what and how people who are Patriots are depicted in this article and statements made by the sheriff. I not only demand a retraction, but also an apology. Do not place me, a Patriot, a Constitutionalist, under the same umbrella as KKK or domestic terrorist. Ozzie, I wipe my a$$ the same way you do. I just don't like to smell it before I flush it. MEANING (in case that statement is difficult for you to interpret). Ozzie, I am just like you, but the difference is I love my country, I love my rights. You love your authority and like to stir up Sh%t.

Re: “Manufacturing Fear

I have read this article over and over again just in the off change I misunderstood something or if there was a change Ozzie might have been misquoted. Myself, along with "my group" have been been called and catorgrized as being Constitutionalists. I guess I'm actually ok with that except for the fact that Ozzie also places KKK members and Domestic Terorist under the same category. My group nor I are nowhere close to that. Much of the political parties have radicals in them. People very devoted to what they believe in and the government seems to be ok with them. But for those that are passionate about having, exercising, and keeping our Constitutional rights, we are trouble. We the people are finally seeing what every level of our government, from the President all the way down to our Sheriff's Department, is suppose to do. They took an oath to unhold and defend our Constitution. Why is that oath so easily forgotten just because it might take work on the behalf of our officials?
I am afraid I would never trust one of these officials to even win a hotdog eating contest muchless protect my rights. I trust my family, which my family included a great group of people that I know have the same beliefs and values as I do. They have my back as I have theirs. We are the group you might see in Shari's once a month having a pie shake or dinner. We are are that group of adults that you see saying a prayer to God asking him to watch this over us and our country. We are the group that laugh now stop when together. As you drive under Sherman St. bridge on I90- WB, we are the ones you see on random Saturday mornings waving flags, and yes this would also include the flag depicted on the front page that our good ole' Sheriff is stomping on. We are the group that is not afraid to protest the cover up of the death of a teenage boy or protest the sale and profit of murdered babies. Also the support of fellow patriots who had their guns taken away (there was a couple of those). No one can say our group is a bunch of felons. I, myself, work fulltime, go to school, pay my taxes, enjoy a game of pool and a beer once in awhile. Others are retired military, business owners, full time employees, parents, Pastors, students, families. We put our pants on the same way everyone else does, except ours might have more red, white, and blue. Sheriff, we, "Constitutionalists", are not bad people, we are not terrorist, we are not a cult. We simply WILL NOT COMPLY. I am not a rude person, when I see you on the other side of my fence, I will wave as I fire the warning shot.
So when it's all said and done and this article is filed away, you can find me by the sticker on my car that says " I'm the Constitutionalist Ozzie warned you about". Yep that's me and I'm proud of it.
