Cabin Fever Virtual Gardening Symposium: Gardening Now & For the Future

The days are getting longer, tree leaf buds are growing larger, and early spring bulbs are starting to push out of the thawing earth. In preparation for the 2024 growing season, The Master Gardener Foundation of Spokane County’s 14th annual symposium, “Gardening Now and For the Future,” offers a diverse slate of presentations from experts with a focus on adaptive practices. Launching this weekend, virtual attendees will be able to access 10 recorded talks for up to two months, including one by keynote speaker Jennifer Jewell, author and host of the award-winning podcast and radio program Cultivating Place. Other topics explored this year include how to add more native plants to your garden, pest and invasive species management, water conservation, bees, and more.
