Call for Submissions: Spokane Throw

Spokane Throw is a new community arts project focusing on healthy communication in public spaces. We invite anyone in Spokane to submit a handwritten letter, (25 words max) during an open call Sept. 2-26. Letters will be reviewed and may be selected by 10 of Spokane's leading visual artists and writers to be translated into light projections on downtown building sides this October during Create Spokane Arts month. The first projection site is the Columbia Bank building, also an in-part sponsor of the program. More sponsorships are required to make this program a reality.
