One of the few benefits of this whole pandemic thing is that so many of us have become Zoom-savvy! Actually, no, the benefit I’m thinking of is the ability to join all manner of artists via Zoom for online conversations that probably wouldn’t have happened if those artists had been able to do their normal touring. Author conversations have proved particularly rewarding, and Thursday the Spokane Public Library is hosting local YA author Chris Crutcher for a freewheeling talk and Q&A about his decades in publishing books that often draw on his experiences as a teacher and therapist, including his most recent book, Loser’s Bracket.
