Moscow native and 2014 MacArthur Foundation Fellow Samuel D. Hunter is getting ready to premiere his new play, Clarkston, in Dallas at the end of the year, but folks in the Inland Northwest can get a preview (of sorts) when the Moscow Art Theatre (Too) and the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in Moscow host a staged reading. Local actors will give voice to Hunter’s characters full of relatable quirks and fears, and proceeds from the event will go toward the Kenworthy, the nonprofit theater bringing quality film, theater and live events to the Palouse.
