CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT: The Doobie Brothers, complete with Michael McDonald, to play the Arena Sept. 8

The Doobie Brothers are hitting the road to celebrate their 50th anniversary, and this new string of dates brings them to the Spokane Arena on Sept. 8. Tickets will start at $59.50 and go all the way up to $199.50

Founding members Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons are still going strong, alongside longtime multi-instrumentalist John McFee. But the big news is that Michael McDonald, who fronted the band during the band's most successful and more pop-oriented period of the late '70s and early '80s, is back in the fold. He became a breakout star and translated it into a solo career, but he hasn't played regularly with the Doobies since the mid-'90s.

You can purchase your tickets for their upcoming Inland Northwest stop beginning next Friday, Dec. 6, through TicketsWest.
