Coyote Speaks feat. Sherman Alexie

Sherman Alexie has a way of finding his way into the pages of the Inlander. Way back, we even published his fiction. This makes sense, given that Alexie is a literary powerhouse who grew up in our own backyard on the Spokane Indian Reservation. Now Alexie returns to speak and read from his celebrated works at a fundraiser for the Salish School of Spokane, which teaches youth the original language of this region in the hopes of preserving it. Expect Alexie’s engaging reading style, and perhaps most entertainingly, his hilarious side banter at this benefit for a cause very dear to his heart.
