Criminal Justice Reform: Can scientific research help us?

When: Mon., March 28, 4-5 p.m. 2016
Recent events have demonstrated a crisis of confidence in our criminal justice system. Mass incarceration, police-community relations, sexual assault and forensic science have brought policing under closer scrutiny than ever before. How can scientific research support the fair administration of justice, and play a role in reforming the system? Hear a talk by Dr. Nancy Rodriguez, director of the National Institute of Justice. She received her Ph.D. in political science at WSU in 1998.
