Dan McCann: Avoid the Struggle (A Book of Fear)

Artist statement: Fear is such a prevailing issue of the day. This includes the fear to tell the truth, if what you are saying is believed, saying the wrong thing to someone, fear to touch, to look, fear of my beliefs in God and politics, FEAR of FEAR itself. With fear comes struggle and with struggle comes choice. The easy choice is to just avoid it altogether. The 33 collages are how I see these fears and choices.
