David Sedaris

If you consider an appearance by David Sedaris as simply a “spoken-word” show or author reading, you don’t have a clear understanding of just how entertaining the man is in person. The writer and NPR radio essayist is one of the more hilarious people to regularly tour through the states, and while his shows do indeed combine some reading and some audience Q&A, taken as a whole they are more like stand-up comedy gigs delivered by the smartest guy in the room.
