Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at Riverfront Park and then marched through downtown Spokane for a third week of Black Lives Matter protests to address racial injustice, and to call for the defunding of and redirect funding from police. Weeks of protests have taken place across the country after Minneapolis police killed George Floyd, a black man, who was in their custody, on Memorial Day.
