Re: “What A Feminist Looks Like

As this was loading, I kept thinking, "Please let this not be written by a man." The only people in a position to know how men can help women are women themselves. While, your effort is admirable, you are clearly not of the gender, with all of the experiences that go along with that, to explain what women need from men. Telling men to act like an intern and not speak up in the workplace so that women's voices can be heard is exactly the opposite of what the feminist movement is about. The feminist movement is about ensuring every voice is heard, including women's voices. Equal pay is just that, everyone is paid equally for the same work, not to pay men less so that women can earn more and feel better.

Instead of men telling men how to behave, how about men asking women what they need help with and how you all, as men, can help? How about The Inlander redo this entire thing and have a man interview some women with some open-ended questions? That would be helpful, not this mansplaining piece.
