Fall Community Work Day

Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge, Spokane Audubon Society and Friends of Turnbull host a work party as part of an ongoing effort to restore native riparian habitat to benefit birds and other wildlife species. Hundreds of native saplings need planting and fencing to protect the trees from deer, elk and moose browsing. Includes a potluck at noon.
