Feeding the Hungry World

2016 year is the “International Year of Pulses” (dry beans peas, lentils, and chickpeas), and Washington State could be a big economic winner. These humble foods are poised to feed the world through Tim Mc Greevy's efforts with GPC (Global Pulse Confederation) to increase the global trade of pulse crops. His work involves everything “from the farm to the fork,” plus working on pulse research, school feeding programs, and policy priorities.
