Starting his career in 1966 as a member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jackson Browne soon ventured out on his own becoming an iconic member of the prolific class of California singer-songwriters of the 1970s. He has sold over 18 million albums in the United States. In 2015, Rolling Stone ranked him as 37th in its list of the 100 greatest songwriters of all time.
