Flora Repercussions

Meghan Flynn explores beauty, identity, self-love and anxiety through her paintings. She creates an outer manifestation of inner turmoil, using magical realism to illustrate her thoughts and emotions. Lisa Soranaka investigates the complexities of being a woman, exploring ideas of strength, beauty, anxiety and fear. She delves into beauty ideals and when they become toxic and parasitic, while also representing the strength and beauty in new growth. This show presents both artists’ journey of examination of self and femininity, anxieties, and hopes. Fridays in September from 5-8 pm or by appointment. Face coverings required.
