Free Tree Giveaway with The Forest Service

Join DHC and The Forest Service - Colville National Forest for a free tree giveaway at the Wilson Conservation Area! The Forest Service will be giving away hundreds of tree plugs (white pine, ponderosa pine, and tamarack) through their Forest at Home program, along with Smokey Bear bags with fire safety information and educational materials. DHC will be on site giving out maps, information, and leading tours of the property, which is not yet open to the public. The event is free, but please register at DishmanHills.org/events-list. We will be joined by Spokane Audubon Society and Spokane Conservation District.
