George Takei's Allegiance

Philosopher George Santayana said that “those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Actor George Takei’s surprise hit musical Allegiance makes sure that America doesn’t forget the forced relocation and internment of 120,000 Japanese Americans during World War II. In theaters for the 75th anniversary of the order, and in a time when immigrants and refugees fear the same treatment, Allegiance stars Takei in an uplifting tale based on his experience as a child internee.
