Join Gonzaga University this Earth Day in a livestream celebration and launch of the new Gonzaga Center for Climate, Society and the Environment. GU has launched the new interdisciplinary climate center as a response to the ongoing threat of climate change. The interdisciplinary center will benefit the academic experience of Gonzaga students and the greater region by providing a new source of innovation advancement, interdisciplinary scholarship, teaching and consulting. The virtual launch features a panel with Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, 350.org climate action group founder Bill McKibben and U.S. Climate Action Network Executive Director Keya Chatterjee. The event is free and open to members of the public who register.
