Growing Forest Mushrooms

Most northern Idaho residents enjoy edible wild mushrooms found in Idaho forests — morels, shaggy manes, boletes. But they may not know about edible mushrooms that can be grown at home on logs or other media. This session introduces participants to techniques for growing a variety of edible forest mushrooms, including oyster and shitake mushrooms.
