Re: “Not Backing Down

Ike,
You have a grossly exaggerated opinion of yourself, your worth, and in particular, the importance of your SJW cause(s). Regression is exactly what we need, especially in Spokane! I have posited this before, but Spokane's many social ills of homelessness and extraordinary neediness, surpass those of Seattle and Tacoma specifically BECAUSE of you and your social programs! More of Spokane's homeless came here from Seattle/Tacoma than anywhere else! Less than 25% of our homeless originated here; they came here from far and wide because the word is out that Spokane is the place to go for the robust support system of freebies you and yours have created.
If you leave dog food on the back porch, you're going to attract skunks. If you leave a bag of flour on the floor in the pantry, you're going to have mice.
The bottom line is: you aren't solving any problems, you are CREATING them.

To which I ask, why use a large word, when a diminutive one will do?

Re: “One Free Shave

I'm not a Trump supporter. I'm even less a supporter of a criminal who committed 66,000 felonies, and in doing so endangered tens of thousands of American lives.
Notwithstanding these choices, no one has truthfully articulated the very direct CAUSE for Trump's rise. Barack Hussein Obama is fully and singularly responsible for the conditions in this country that have brought rise to Donald Trump.
Don't blame it on the Russians, don't blame it on the emails, don't blame it on GW Bush. Barack Hussein Obama's wholesale failure as a President, is fully and singularly to blame.

Re: “2005: MAYOR JIM WEST'S INTERNET HISTORY BECOMES VERY PUBLIC

While we're highlighting SCANDAL in Spokane, you glaringly omitted one! Allow me to fill in the blanks on the Jim West debacle, and expose the scandal within the scandal.
With solid knowledge of West's background, the Spokesman Review (Cowles) endorsed West for Mayor with a belief that he would be presiding over the resolution of the RiverPark Square Parking Garage fiasco between Cowles and the City. The Spokesman started its initial investigative report about West's involvement with the Boy Scouts, before West could even warm his seat as Mayor. This investigation was started for a reason--to have the goods on West to guarantee that he would deliver in favor of Cowles on the parking garage settlement. Having the goods was so important, that when the Boy Scout abuse story didn't damn West, exploiting his known proclivities, the Spokesman resorted to entrapping West. The Spokesman paid a Private Investigator to pose as a 17-year-old boy to lure him into wrong-doing. When that ploy didn't catch any fish, they aged the bait to 18 years old, and cast another line. They caught their whale in 2004!
So, why didn't they go to press!? Oh, yeah! There's still that pesky little problem of settling the parking garage issue between Cowles and the City. On 27 April 2005, West did indeed, broker the settlement between the City and Cowles, and Cowles lost $5 MILLION in the deal! EIGHT DAYS LATER, on 5 May, the Spokesman Review published its very damning, and eventually destroying article outing Mayor Jim West.
I don't condone anything Jim West may have done, but his wrongs are but one scintilla of the wrong committed by Cowles (and his newspaper). This scandal is so scandalous that journalism schools across the country use it as a case-study in journalistic ethics (or, in this case, the lack thereof).

Re: “Trump wins: America's great state of disconnect

Ted McGregor voted for a candidate who committed over 66,000 felonies (each punishable by up to three years); jeopardized national security in failing to properly secure our nations highest classified secrets; and in doing so endangered tens of thousands of lives of American citizens.
Ted McGregor is a loser, who cares more about Socialism, than his nation or its people.

Re: “Great Expectations

*derp*

The nation notices alright. WSU went down in flames to EWU for their second straight season-opener loss to a FCS team (Portland State last year).

Re: “A Blind Eye

@Soziale Gerechtigkeit So, you want "justice," or "just us?" I think Leach's players should all be kicked off the team and their scholarships revoked. I also think Hillary Clinton should be in prison for over 60,000 felonies committed under the Espionage Act. Based upon your vehement demand for "justice," wouldn't you agree?
On 5 July 2016, the US officially ceased being a country of laws and justice. The new bar for justice is whether, "a reasonable prosecutor would bring these charges."
Willkommen in den USA, wo Gerechtigkeit keine Rolle mehr spielt.
