Hayden Meadows Greenhouse Sale

The self-sustaining project was started by third grade teacher Vern Harvey in 2006. CdA elementary students have the opportunity to work in the greenhouse throughout the year, planting, watering, and measuring growth. In the spring students see their hard work come to fruition, taking an active role in the annual plant sale, developing customer service and money handling skills under the supervision of the teachers and staff.
